York University attended at the Ontario Labour Relations Board on April 4, 2018 to respond to an Unfair Labour Practice claim made by CUPE 3903; a complaint that the University believes is without merit. 

On April 3, CUPE 3903 amended its complaint to allege that an employee purchased a URL (cupe3903.com) on behalf of the University. As stated to CUPE 3903 through the mediator on March 16, York has no record of paying for or reimbursing for the URL registration. Further, York has no knowledge of why, when or for what purpose the URL was registered. The issue will be followed up as an employment matter.

At the hearing, CUPE 3903 sought an adjournment of its claim that York purchased the URL CUPE3903.com. The Board adjourned, and no findings were made on any of the claims.
